【引言】由于有线电视网络术语大多数由国外翻译而来，中国现已是世贸组织（WTO）成员，国内外技术交流（包括技术资料互译）肯定会不断加强，有线电视网络技术人员不但需要掌握中文术语，而且需要掌握外文（主要是英文）术语。鉴于目前查阅英汉有线电视术语的资料缺乏，笔者经过收集、对照、翻译，形成如下较全面的“英汉对照有线电视网络专业术语”（以英文术语字母为序），以满足大家的需要。
